Costume Museum of Kastoria

This is an exhibition of old costumes of the region. The museum is housed in the mansion of Brothers Emmanuel and it aims at preserving the heritage of the place.

The men’s, women’s and children’s costumes you will see in this collection, will give you a glimpse of Kastoria through the passage of history. The textiles and jewelry highlight both the social stratification and the connection of the locals to Europe and the world.

The musical-literary society “Armonia” (meaning Harmony) has helped a lot with enriching and maintaining the collection of the museum.
