Factory of Metallurgy

Experts consider it one of the most important European industrial monuments, corresponding to the ones in Sardinia (Italy), Mancha (Spain), Indra (Slovenia), Ruhr (Germany), Le Creusset (France) and the Iron Bridge (Great Britain). It was made by the German company "Minengeselischaft Fr. Spidel" in 1903. During the First World War, in 1916, the premises were occupied by French troops so a part of it was destroyed. In 1925 the new company that managed the premises restored and expanded the factory.
