Thermopylae Historical Information Center

The Thermopylae Historical Information Centre of the Municipality of Lamia is located in  Thermopylae near the Monument of Leonidas, just 18 km from Lamia and 27 km from  Kamena Vourla. It was inaugurated in 2010 as part of the celebrations "Thermopylae 2010 ".

The museum occupies an area of ​​850 sq.m. and it is shaped as the cutting edge of a spear. It exhibits the historical events of the time of the battle of Thermopylae. The project belongs to the Municipality of Lamia with funding from the EU.

Asproneri

Asproneri beach is just ten minutes outside Kamena Vourla. On the way from Agios Konstantinos to Kamena Vourla, you turn right at the gas station and you will see the sign showing you the way to the beach. The turn requires attention (especially if you are driving on the other side of the road) because visibility is limited.

Ahladi

Ahladi is a picturesque village among olive trees and cypresses with a long sandy beach east and west of the natural harbor. On the west beach there is an important wetland in need of protection.

There are many holiday homes, several cafes, bars and taverns on the coastal zone and around the square of the village.
