Koumbara

This is one of the busiest beaches of Ios, just 1.5 km. from the port. There are two narrow peninsulas “protecting” the bay with the crystal clear waters. Walking further, you'll find smaller bays with pebbles or sand.

Mylopotas

This is the most famous beach of Ios. It is sandy with turquoise waters. It is organized with umbrellas, sunbeds, beach bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. In the area there are also several inns and hotels.

In the bay of Hora you will find the small and quiet beach of Valmas. You can go there by car or via a beautiful hiking route that starts from the church of Agia Irini in the harbor.

This is a big beach on the east side of the island with golden sand and beautiful waters. It is 16 km. from the port and you can reach it via a dirt road.
